Fresh seaweed can be stored for 3 – 5 days. You should keep fresh seaweed in cool places, avoid direct sunlight, and do not store fresh seaweed in the refrigerator. You can even leave fresh algae outside in the right conditions so they can continue to photosynthesize.
With dried sea grapes, first open the bag, take the dehydrated sea grapes and put them in a bowl of clean water, soak for about 3 – 5 minutes, the sea grapes will slowly expand and become fresh again.
Then, pour out the soaked water and put the seaweed in a bowl of ice water and soak for about 3 minutes. Similar to fresh seaweed, you should only eat as much as you soak because the sea grapes will shrink.
