    Description

Pickled Pepper – rich flavor, preserving the natural essence

Pickled pepper is a spice made from fresh peppercorns, usually green peppercorns, soaked in solutions such as vinegar, fish sauce or a mixture of other spices. The soaking process helps preserve fresh peppercorns longer, while also creating a distinctive flavor, combining the spicy taste of peppercorns with the sour, salty taste of the pickling solution.

    How to make pickled pepper

    Ingredients:

    • 200gr green pepper
    • 10 chili peppers
    • 2 garlic bulbs
    • 200ml vinegar
    • Seasoning: Fish sauce
    • Tools: Jar

How to make green pepper pickled in vinegar:

    • Step 1: Preparation
Cut off the chili pepper stems, wash and drain. Peel the garlic, wash and thinly slice lengthwise.
Wash the green pepper, drain. Then cut off the stems and blanch in boiling water to clean the pepper better and keep its beautiful color.
    • Step 2: Soak the pepper
Put half of the chopped garlic into the bottom of the jar lengthwise. Then, put all the pepper in. Next, put all the chili in and spread the remaining half of the garlic evenly on top. Finally, add all the vinegar, 2 tablespoons of filtered water, 3 tablespoons of fish sauce and cover to complete.
    • Step 3: Finished product
Just soak the pepper for 2 – 2.5 weeks and we will have a jar of quality green pepper pickled in vinegar. After soaking, the peppercorns still retain their attractive green color and inherent freshness. In particular, when served with dishes, especially braised or stewed dishes, you will feel the deliciousness doubled with the light sourness of vinegar mixed with the spicy taste of pepper.
